We have canceled the "The New CFPB Rules, Closing Forms and REALTORS®" class on June 25th so we can teach the course correctly and authoritatively once we know the true date for implementation in July. We do have other course dates available.

CRS 122 & 201 this Fall!

The Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Designation is the professional designation offered by the Council of Residential Specialists. The CRS Designation is the highest professional designation awarded to REALTORS® in the residential sales field. Fewer than 5% of all REALTORS® hold the CRS Designation.

Two great CRS courses will be offered this October at GIRE. CRS 122, "Building a Team to Grow Your Business" will be held on October 28th and CRS 201, "Listing Strategies for the Residential Specialist" will be held on October 29th and 30th. Both courses are co-sponsored by GIRE and the Georgia Chapter of CRS.

Notice to Real Estate Licensees of Rule Changes

The Georgia Real Estate Commission adopted a revised "Maintaining a License" Rule which will increase the continuing education requirements for maintaining a license. This Rule will become effective August 1, 2014.
