90-Hour Appraisal - $775

If you have research and communication skills, you should consider applying them to a promising career in real estate valuation. GIRE offers you a 90-hour Appraisal Registration/Licensure course that includes a field trip, an actual “hands on” appraisal of an existing property. You will be led through the entire appraisal process, including a physical inspection, measuring gross living area, and data research by instructors with extensive appraisal experience. You and your classmates will be assisted in applying the proper appraisal principles and procedures necessary to complete your own appraisal and learn each step needed to produce a credible report that will comply with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice.

You will utilize your newly-acquired knowledge of the appraisal process in the valuation of Case Study properties which present interesting “real world” appraisal issues.

This exciting learning experience is also approved for real estate postlicense credit and 24 hours of real estate continuing education credit. For additional information about appraiser classifications, visit the websites of the Georgia Real Estate Appraisers Board or The Appraisal Foundation.

The 90-Hour format can also be taken in 4 individual units, which are also approved for CE credit.
