Statement of Policy

This material must be read before ordering or completing the online courses.

The Georgia Real Estate Commission has approved GIIRES, d/b/a LearningRealEstate.com, until December 31, 2011, to offer real estate courses by independent study. Our school code is #351. To complete your course and receive credit, you must:

• Complete all lessons on the computer and demonstrate mastery on all Chapter Summary Quizzes;
• Complete the online Student Affidavit and Course Evaluation; &
• Pass the final exam with a score of 75% or better if taking a Postlicense course.

Continuing Education and Postlicense courses offered online are independent student programs and no in-class hours are required. If you have any questions regarding course content, contact the school at 404-252-6768 or 1-800-633-3583 between regular business hours of 9:00 am – 5:00 pm EST Monday through Friday. The school staff will put you in contact with an approved instructor who will assist you.

All courses must be completed within six (6) months from date of enrollment.

Final exams, required for all Prelicense and Postlicense courses, are usually administered at 12:45 pm on Tuesday and Thursday at our Sandy Springs campus. Please call the school to confirm the weekly testing schedule only if you are traveling a long distance to take an exam. State Law requires that you score 75% or better on the school Final Exam.

Should you fail the first and second Postlicense exams, you must repeat the course from the beginning.

You will not be given a Course Completion Certificate. GIIRES will certify that you successfully completed your course through an online completion program directly with the GA Real Estate Commission. You can verify your hours by accessing “Online Transactions” on the homepage of the Commission’s website, www.grec.state.ga.us.

There are NO refunds for Postlicense or Continuing Education courses. Please remember the vendor name that appears on your credit card statement will not be the GIIRES.

For Salesperson or Broker courses on CD-ROM, students should review all written material contained in the manual(s) prior to opening the software package.  Only unopened packages will be accepted for return.  To be eligible for a refund, all materials must be returned within fifteen (15) days from the date of purchase.  NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE OR CREDIT GIVEN ON SALESPERSON PRELICENSE OR BROKER PRELICENSE COURSES AFTER THE FIFTEEN (15) DAYS HAVE EXPIRED.  All products will be inspected and, at our discretion, credit may be refused or up to a $25.00 restocking fee may be applied against the credit amount.  If the textbooks are damaged, the cost of the books will be deducted from the refund amount.

The charges will appear on your credit card bill as "Realtor Ecommerce Network".

No recruiting for employment opportunities for any real estate brokerage firm is allowed during any portion of an approved course nor during the registration for the course. Promptly report any effort to recruit by anyone to the GIIRES Director at 404-252-6768 or 1-800-633-3583 or the Georgia Real Estate Commission at 404-656-3916. Commission Rule 520-2-.15.
