Barker is active in real estate today as a principal. The Wall Street Journal, The Denver Post and REALTOR® Magazine have all interviewed him.

Barker was the Senior Vice President of one of Colorado's largest real estate companies. He was with that firm for 18 years. He then opened his own company, Real Estate by Barker Enterprises, Ltd.

He has been speaking to REALTORS® for 35 years and has spoken in every state and Canada. More than 7,000 REALTORS® hear his ideas each year. He has been a speaker at 15 NAR conventions and was the Colorado Convention Chairman.

Barker wears the CRS Diamond pin as one of the Past Presidents of the Council of Residential Specialists.
