CRB Designation Courses

The Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers (CRB Council) provides superior member benefits to enhance the productivity and profitability of its nearly 7,000 members nationwide. Since 1968, the Council has awarded the prestigious Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) Designation to REALTORS® who have completed advanced professional training. Our members consistently increase their level of industry knowledge, advance their earning and career potential, increase their firm’s productivity, and benefit from active involvement in our network of real estate professionals.

Not just anyone can display the CRB designation after his or her name. It is reserved for only the most dedicated conscientious and highly skilled managers.

CRB designees have:

  • Dedication to recruiting and training their associates to handle real estate transactions with professionalism and the most up-to-date information, techniques and tools.
  • Skill in designing effective marketing programs to promote and sell property for the highest price and in the shortest period of time.
  • Management know-how assisting sales associates in helping to quickly find a property matching the needs and wants of the customer.
  • Experience and understanding of market, housing and economic trends that will be used to positively influence transactions.
  • Expertise in maintaining an organized, smooth-running organization which ensures that transactions receive prompt and thorough attention.

Requirements
  • Submit Candidate Application accompanied by required documentation (if applicable), non-refundable application fee, and required dues.
  • Obtain or hold active membership in the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® as a REALTOR® or REALTOR®-ASSOCIATE. NOTE: A Broker's License is NOT required.
  • Have at least two consecutive years of management experience prior to designation (may be obtained while a Candidate) and submit a management resume outlining this experience.
  • Earn twelve (12) credits within four years of application.

Management experience is defined as being directly responsible for the management of a real estate business as an owner, broker, active principal, or as having functioned as a supervisor of one or more individuals (including assistants) and /or other real estate business management functions.

  $375 after deadline

CRB Candidates & ABR Members:
  $525 by deadline
  $575 after deadline

All Others: 
  $575 by deadline
  $625 after deadline

Fees include lunch.
