The first-time examinee passing rate of the GIRE students
continues to be among the highest in Georgia. In 2009, 172 of
204 or 84.3% of the GIRE classroom Salesperson Pre-license
students and 66 of 73 or 90.4% of the GIRE computer-based
Salesperson Pre-license students passed the State exam on their
first attempt! (Statewide percentage passing the first time –
69.2%.)
To Qualify…
Unless you are exempted from one or more of the requirements
by the Georgia Real Estate Commission, to be eligible for a
Georgia Salesperson Real Estate license, you must:

Be at least 18 years old.

Be a resident of Georgia, unless seeking a nonresident
license.

Be a high school graduate or holder of a certification of
equivalency.

Complete a 75-hour Salesperson Pre-license course (such as
this course) offered by an approved school and complete the
school in-house exam.

Pass the state real estate examination.
-
Obtain a copy of your Georgia Crime Information Report.
Final decisions regarding licensure are the responsibility of
the Georgia Real Estate Commission.

A note for AOL users
