The Basics of Technology
Everyone has to start somewhere. After you are licensed, you
typically begin working on a business plan. CE and Non-CE
courses are offered as part of this theme with the goal of
assisting individuals understand the Atlanta real estate market
as well as all of the resources that are available to them. Many
of those resources are found within their own brokerage firm and
many of them are more difficult to find but they might fit into
your business plan.

The Basics of E-Mail
This is an introductory course that is primarily
“hands-off” that covers the fundamentals of email, which
includes: Email types, definitions and proper usage. No
specific Email service will be addressed (such as @hotmail.com,
@gmail.com, etc.)
Introduction to Computing
This is a beginner to intermediate level course that looks
at the nature of computing in today’s hectic electronic
world. This course is a “soup to nuts” overview of not
only how computers work, but how they connect and
communicate. Software and other peripherals (printers,
scanners, fax) devices are also examined for suitability
as well as compatibility. Upon completion of this course
participants will be able to make an informed choice about
purchasing and using basic computing devices and
applications.
The New E-Mail Etiquette
Email has become the universal communication tool in
the same way that cell phone text-messaging and instant messaging
is. Email is also one of the most vulnerable tools of this
set as it does not convey tone or full intent and is can
be
misunderstood by the recipient. Just as the use of jargons
change in our language the same holds true in Email
communication. This course examines the general rules of
using Email as well as when it should not be used. This
is a very interactive class that allows participants to
critique other participants' Emails.
Search Engines - Entertainer or Educator?
This is an introductory to intermediate course that looks
at the difference between different search engine types as
they relate to the subjects are questions that might be
posed. This is a very interactive class as we look at real
estate related material from mortgage rates to legal
aspects for answers to questions that may not be so
common.
