The CE and Non-CE courses in this theme are designed to challenge individuals to think about how to stay ahead of the curve without buying into fads.

GPS, What the Heck Is It?

This is a basic two hour non-ce course that looks at how Global Positioning has changed the way in which we work, play and travel. Participants will learn the basics of how GPS works and the questions you should ask yourself before you purchase an installed unit in your automobile or a mobile unit. The course also examines how GPS and mapping can be integrated for caravans, buyer’s tours, etc.

The House of the Future Is Here Today

This course is offered as a two hour non-ce course and a 3 hour CE course. The class is designed and oriented towards emerging technologies that make homes smarter and more efficient. This technology then can be applied to renovations or older homes as well and it can present a problem when a Realtor® is unfamiliar with the technology that is in the home and how it relates to cost, efficiencies, connectivity and entertainment. This course is designed to illustrate this new technology and learn how to market it appropriately.

Microsoft Office 2007, Is It Time to Upgrade?

This is an intermediate course that explores the difference between Office 2003 and the various versions of Office 2003 and Office 2007 and the versions it has to offer. The course is geared towards discovering when the “tipping point” for upgrading is. This course is a must for anyone interested in upgrading or thinking of buying a new pc or laptop. The course is primarily moderator lead with a Q&A period and visual examples of the difference between the two office versions offered as resource material.

Microsoft Vista- Is It Time to Upgrade?

This is an intermediate course that is designed to provide the participants with all the information they need in order to make a well-informed decision regarding whether it is time to upgrade to Microsoft’s new operating system. This course also allows plenty of time for Questions and Answers and sometimes guides the course in new directions. This is a must take course as Vista is currently being heavily advertised by both computer manufacturers as well as Microsoft.
